Anyone that applies for specific positions of employment and/or licensure that require fingerprinting are usually aware of the live scan requirement. They also should have been issued a live scan form by the requesting or licensing entity. The form should be completed in its entirety (all applicable spaces) prior to arriving at the live scan facility to expedite the process. No Appointment needed.   Walk-ins welcome. The usual live scan response time as determined by the Department of Justice is three (3) to seven (7) days, and by the FBI, seven (7) to fifteen (15) days.
